KLVN CineGrade (Video LUTs)

KLVN CineGrade is a video LUT pack that contains three looks that will give your footage a cinematic look. It is compatible with any camera brand or model and is specifically designed for video in the Rec.709 color space. These LUTs provide general film-like characteristics, such as soft highlights, unique color, and film-characteristic curves.

KLVN CineGrade includes a zip file with 6 LUTs (.cube files):

• KLVN CineGrade Essential

• KLVN CineGrade Golden
• KLVN CineGrade Forest
• KLVN CineGrade A
• KLVN CineGrade B
• KLVN CineGrade C

and an additional 10 conversion LUTs to Rec.709, supporting: Apple Log, C-Log, C-Log2, C-Log3, D-Log, F-Log, F-Log2, S-Log2, S-Log3, and V-Log.

KLVN CineGrade Essential provides a unique color and contrast to the image inspired by general film-like characteristics. KLVN CineGrade Golden offers a warmer tone, while KLVN CineGrade Forest adds a green shift to the shadows. Meanwhile, KLVN CineGrade A, B, and C are recreational looks based on my Lr Presets: KLVN FilmLook.

These LUTs are compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, VN, CapCut PC, and other software that supports the import of custom LUTs (.cube files).

Color grading workflow:

1. If you are using log footage, convert it to Rec.709 first. Some camera brands provide Log to Rec.709 LUT conversion on their websites for free.
2. As each video has different characteristics and lighting conditions, it is important to color-correct your clips for the best results. Adjust the exposure, white balance, contrast, and saturation.
3. Choose and apply the desired KLVN CineGrade LUT.
